Thomas & Friends Christmas Journey at Hamley, London

I just had a wonderful time at Hamley's toy store in Leicester Square, London, that I had come up with a blog report on what's been going on.

On Sunday November 10, 2013, I left home around 10:30 AM to catch a bus to Morden to catch a tube from Northern Line to Leicester Square. However when I got there, it was closed for the weekend for bus replacement services. So I have to get another bus to Wimbledon to catch a 1130 train from there to the exact place.

By the time I have arrived at Hamley, I was about twenty minutes late after the event had started at 12:00 PM. Although it wouldn't bother me one bit, as we all knew that better late than never. First I went up to the second floor where the meet and greet of the Fat Controller (Sir Topham Hatt) took place.

(This is a picture of me with the Fat Controller and his trusty helper, Dusty)

There I gave the Fat Controller a warm, friendly handshake and introduced myself as well. And soon we had our picture taken, and shortly after that, I had met some nice people from HiT Entertainment (including Matthew and Lindsey) and gave a compliment on how fabulous the event had been for everyone, especially to make the children smile.

Next I went back downstairs of the store to have my face painted, and look what I had just become.... Go on, take a good guess what I had become....
(If you are correct in this one, I do look like a Smurf! Lol!)
After I had my face painted to look like a generic Smurf, I went back upstairs to see the Fat Controller reading a festive storybook from My Thomas Story Library. (which was The Snowy Surprise) And I must tell you, he had done an outstanding performance as a storyteller for all the children!

(The Fat Controller's outstanding storytelling at Hamley's!)
After the storytelling was over, the Fat Controller asks the audience about who has a favourite Thomas story before he would leave to do more meet and greet routine, and I have answered a question. (which was obvious, as I enjoyed King of the Railway as the story overall)

Shortly after that, I went to look around the store before I had left to get home early. Overall this had been a really fun and fabulous event it had been, as I had said before. So all I have left to say is to give my personal thanks to the staff from HiT Entertainment, Hamley's and the Fat Controller for making it all possible, and I would certainly hope all went well for their "Tracks  4 Thomas" journey to deliver presents to all the children in hospitals.

Thank you all for reading this blog report on what I had been doing yesterday, and expect more for sometime! See you soon!

Two Halloween Episodes from The Coffey Reviewer

Hello everybody!

I am pleased to say that I have finished making two more Coffey Reviewer episodes in time for Halloween! One is from the Smurfs, and the other is from Winnie the Pooh.

And so, here they are in three links together!

THE COFFEY REVIEWER: EPISODE 7 - THE LEGEND OF SMURFY HOLLOW

Get ready for a smurftastic adventure yet!

The Coffey Reviewer had accidentally drinks his cup with added magical source that turns him into a Smurf! Will he finds a tablet that will turn him back to normal in order to race against time, while reviewing a recent Smurfs project from Sony Pictures Animation, DUCK Studios and director, Stephan Franck?

THE COFFEY REVIEWER: EPISODE 8 - BOO TO YOU TOO! WINNIE THE POOH

The Coffey Reviewer takes a look back at a unique Halloween television special of one of the most beloved children's franchise, Winnie the Pooh, with a story focuses mostly on Piglet's bravery in the annual event.

Oh and by the way, here's the additional review from The Coffey Reviewer: Thomas & Friends Series 17 Episode Reviews as well!

THE COFFEY REVIEWER: THE PHANTOM EXPRESS (THOMAS & FRIENDS SERIES 17 EPISODE REVIEWS)

With Halloween was well underway, will the episode from the seventeenth series be spookier enough then what we'd expect?

Find out in the Coffey Reviewer!

So I would certainly hope you'll enjoy watching these videos in either of these links, while eating some sweets this time at night!

Have a spooky Halloween!

Global Smurfs Day 2013 (Westfield London)

(it appears that I had finally met my match.... by giving this smurfy chap a friendly handshake!)

On Saturday June 22nd, 2013, I went to Westfield shopping centre (which is alongside Shepherd's Bush station) to join in for the smurf-tastic fun there. Once I got there, I have changed into a smurf costume and put on some blue facepaint all over my face. (almost entirely...!)

(Right Said Fred had been all smurfy, even for a smile on his face!)

The event had turned out to be smurfier than I had ever thought it would be, as there were lots of smurfy things to do like playing with "The Smurfs 2" on the PS3, coconut shy, face painting, a mega block model of a smurf and a stage hosted by none other than Magic 105.4's Jamie Edwards!

(Here I am standing next to this huge model of a mega-block Smurf, except it was a twice as three apples high!)

While I was enjoying myself, I had met and made friends with lots of peoples who wanted to have their pictures taken with me, which was something I didn't expect to be doing to please everybody. Even a nice paparazzi from Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle had taken a picture of me, a little girl and of course, my little true blue friend!

(A fabulous picture of me, Papa Smurf, Debra and of course, a little smurf figure I had won from a Q&A game from Jamie)

Later in the afternoon, everyone were having a smurf-tastic time singing Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Smurfy" karaoke. And by the end of the day, I was tired but felt rather proud of myself for having a fun time at Westfield.

There will always be another year or two for the next Global Smurfs Day!

THE END!

(These are all the goodies I had won from Jamie's Q&A game on "The Smurfs 2", including an large figure of the Smurf)

The Coffey Reviewer: Thomas & Friends Series 17 Episode Reviews (Episodes 1 - 10)

THE COFFEY REVIEWER: THOMAS & FRIENDS
SERIES 17 EPISODE REVIEWS
(1 - 10)

This was a turning point for me to do more episodes from my internet series "The Coffey Reviewer", and while I was typing down more scripts for future episodes, I had come up with an inspiration from two YouTubers, TheUnluckyTug02 and missoliverandblossom (now DaWillstanator), to make my own unique episode review series on one of the most beloved pre-school show of all time, Thomas & Friends.

So far I have reviewed the first ten episodes of the acclaimed seventeenth series of the show, and yes, I will be back to do some more from October. (with lots more surprises in store!)

For now, here are the link to these reviews for your viewing pleasure.

Introduction

Hello everybody! My name is Daniel Coffey, and still living in Surrey England since the day I was born. (for I'm sure most of you might have know me by now...)

So you see, I'm only new to creating such blogs like this one to keep some updates on plenty of things I do in life, especially on some events going on, reviews, filmmaking, acting, and many more.

Along with other things like my current reviewing series that I had come up with about a year ago, as titled "The Coffey Reviewer". Although I had only done a pilot episode, (in which I have reviewed one of the Smurfs cartoon specials involves Olympic Games) I wrote some scripts for more episodes to be made for your viewing pleasure.

And of course, I had finished reviewing the first half of the seventeenth series of Thomas & Friends to keep the reviewing series fresh for the future since the pilot. In the meantime, here's some links to the pilot episode.
