Mr. Men book signing event at Selfridges, London/Little Miss Hug book review

Hello everyone, Daniel here! I know it had been a while since I wrote a last post for the blog about a certain episode of 'The Coffey Reviewer' about the Smurfette in terms of appeals and controversies.
However since I had a wonderful day today, I have decided to write a new blog post as a journal about the recent events; and this one is no exception. Today I went to Selfridges in London, which is near Bond Street underground station, to take a look around on the fourth floor as I arrived there by half-past twelve.

(Here I am with Little Miss Hug by my side at Selfishes, and she seems to enjoying her new adventure here in London so far...!)

Half an hour later, I had some lunch upstairs after I bought two new Mr. Men merchandise: 'Little Miss Hug' book and a selfie commemorative print. Then no sooner after that, I happened to saw Adam Hargreaves himself as I walked down the fourth floor, along with Little Miss Hug! So I went to have a picture taken next to Miss Hug herself, as well as to give her a warm friendly hug.

Minutes past well into the stroke of 2 on the clock, when Adam Hargreaves starts signing the limited copies of the new Little Miss book, along with the selfie commemorative print. When I was next in line, I introduced myself to Adam, who seemed pleased to see me wearing a 'Mr. Grumpy' T-shirt, and having known that I love Mr. Men very much since I was a lad. So in return, I recited a quote of Mr. Grumpy from 'The Mr. Men Show', which goes something like this; "Oh crooked cucumbers!" which had Adam laugh a little in amusement. I then gave him a positive comment in regards to the new book, that his father would have been very proud of him for keeping generations and generations of fans happy with the new materials for the franchise; and then he signed my copies of the book and print.

Next I had a picture taken next to Adam himself, and not long before I requested for a lovely picture with Adam next to Little Miss Hug herself. (although he have to be out of table for a minute since Little Miss Hug couldn't be able to squeeze through there...!) Soon enough, we all had a lovely picture together before I thanked Adam for a wonderful day, given him a friendly handshake and we bid our farewells as I have left.

(Lovely jovely! Now that is what I would like to call a picture! You know what they say, every picture tells a story.)

And that is how it ends a wonderful day I ever had for not only to meet Adam Hargreaves, but Little Miss Hug as well! Lastly I would like to give a personal sincere thanks to Adam and the people at Selfridges and Arts You Grew Up With for making the whole day worthwhile.

I have read the book on my way home, and I was absolutely stunned on how it turned out to be; a simply great book for kids and parents to learn and appreciate the warm feeling of getting hugs. (even though most times when we were uncomfortable, there is no reason to be afraid of getting hugged by someone you only know)

And as for the character of Little Miss Hug, she is nicely designed with a shape of a pink heart with a red stylish bow and two flowers on both sides of her hair, along with a unique personality in her character. Also the story is very well written with a great moral to learn about showing appreciation to one another. (Spoiler alert: After Little Miss Hug gives a warm hug to Mr. Grumpy, who doesn't want to be hugged at first)

Overall I would really recommend this special book to all the fans of the Mr. Men franchise, as well as to families and children who love the stories of these fantastic characters. So I am happy to give this book a fantastic rating of five out of five in all!
